HELLO.

Thanks so much for being here. Here's a bit of blurb about me (always a bit strange to write about yourself!). Hopefully you get to read what you're hoping for but if you have any  un-answered questions,  I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers, Dave.

MY STORY.

Cornishman at heart (born and bred St Austell), I moved to Leicester in 2010 when I became the Senior 1st Team Physio for Leicester Tigers. I went on to meet my wife, have 2 beautiful boys, became Head Physio at Tigers and did 10 brilliant seasons before deciding to go it alone and set up my own Leicestershire clinic in 2020.

Before Leicester Tigers, I was fortunate to have had many experiences including a years stint with the NHS, 3 years at Watford Football Club, a season at Saracens FC and consulting for Red Bull Racing.

Fast forward back to today and I love the opportunities that the clinic gives me including working with people from all walks of life with a multitude of challenges. I thoroughly enjoy returning to 'club side' to consult and enjoy the odd speaking event as a 'professional' in the field. My work now also gives me the best work/life balance which, spending time with my family is right up there on the list of important stuff in life. Physio + people = my true passion - and I'm truly grateful to get to do what I do.

I'm also a proud ambassador for a Leicestershire based charity, The Bodie Hodges Foundation, who support families bereaved of a child and who are very close to our hearts. As a family, we are proud to have raised in excess of £30,000 since July 2022 in memory of our beautiful son, Freddie, and have contributed to £10's of £1,000's more. Our work in fundraising for this incredible charity has only just begun.

This is the short version!Hopefully we get to chat through the longer version one day soon :)

One of the greatest memories in the history of my career so far has to be the 'Global Marathon Challenge' which raised in excess of £40k for The Bodie Hodges Foundation and Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation (Leicester City FC)

Team of 4 - Nick Hodges and Ian Stringer (the amateur runners who turned a crazy dream into reality!), Lewis Moses (super coach) and me (physio). Nick and Ian ran 5 marathons in 5 days in 5 cities, across 4 continents (Thailand - Hawaii - Alaska - USA - Leicester) . With only 120 hours to complete the challenge in, this included 47 hours worth of economy flights with very little leg room  (3 of us are over 6ft tall), lots of airport treatment, bear spray and very little sleep - but wow, it was worth it.
