An initial consultation is a longer appointment which takes between 40 - 45 mins, depending on the depth of the consultation. It is here that we will be able to spend time talking about the challenges you have been experiencing, or the areas you wish to improve and build a plan for your future treatment.
Great! All you need to do it bring your pre-approval/authorisation details with you to your first appointment and we'll do the rest. If your insurer requires you to pay an excess fee, you will be required to bring this to your first appointment also.
We are happy to accept a bank transfer on the day of the appointment or if you would prefer to bring cash, that's fine for us too.
Please note that we operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations within 48 hours will be subject to a full appointment fee (if you have private healthcare, this will be deducted from one of your sessions).
After the first consultation appointment which can take a little longer, appointments which take place at a clinic are generally around 30 minutes for most cases.
Please note that if you are late to an appointment, this will shorten your appointment time by the same amount (so as not to have a knock on effect to our other patients throughout the day).
Yes, we will happily see any child over the age of 12 years old with an accompanying parent/guardian. The initial process is the same as adults in that we will conduct a thorough consultation appointment to determine the necessary steps forward.
